Tree Density Albaha
This KML dataset provides a detailed spatial representation of tree density distribution across the Al Baha Province in Saudi Arabia. Designed for compatibility with GIS platforms like Google Earth, ArcGIS, and QGIS, the file contains layered Thiessen (Voronoi) polygons classifying tree density into distinct zones based on two standardized metrics:
Raw Density (TreeCount/Shape_Area) Five tiers: Sparse (0–6,828 trees/unit) to Very Dense (95,490–273,700 trees/unit). Normalized Density (TreeCount/Area_sq_km) Five classes: 0–0.6254 (low) to 8.250 (high) trees per square kilometer.
Key Features Geographic Coverage: Focuses on Al Baha Province (19°30’N–20°30’N / 41°E–42°E), including the Jebel Buthra/Wadi Turbah Nature Reserve. Elevation Data: Annotated terrain heights (1,098m–2,664m) for ecological correlation. Stratified Sampling: Polygons tagged to strata (Strata_1–Strata_4) for analytical grouping. Visual Hierarchy: Color-coded polygons with embedded metadata (density values, location names).
