Al_Baha_MainSpecies_Baljurashi
This KMZ file presents the spatial distribution of tree basal area in Baljurashi Governorate, Al Bahah Region, Saudi Arabia. Basal area (m²) was calculated from field-measured tree diameters at breast height (DBH) and visualized as georeferenced points. Each point contains attribute data including basal area value, units, minimum and maximum observed values, and reference coordinates. The dataset supports forest monitoring, biomass estimation, and land-use planning, providing an indicator of stand density and forest structure. Developed under the FAO–NCVC collaboration, it is suitable for use in Google Earth and other GIS platforms for ecological assessment and resource management.
