Carbon Estimates in Albaha Region_Baljurashi map
Carbon stock estimates for Baljurashi, Al-Baha Region, Saudi Arabia. The report quantifies above-ground, below-ground, and total carbon. Methods: derive AGB from field plots and Earth-observation; estimate BGB from AGB using Mokany et al. (2006), BGB = 0.489 × AGB^0.89; convert biomass to carbon with the IPCC carbon fraction CF = 0.47, C = 0.47 × Biomass. Outputs include maps and tables of AGB, BGB, and total carbon (Mg C/ha), summary statistics, and guidance for use in restoration planning, carbon accounting, and MRV.
