This dataset contains geospatial data and analyses of sand dune movement and encroachment over a period from 2018 to 2023. Utilizing the Normalized Difference Enhanced Sand Index (NDESI), derived from Sentinel-2 imagery, this dataset provides insights into the dynamics of sand movements across designated areas in Saudi Arabia. It is intended for use in monitoring and developing interventions to manage sand encroachment.
