NFI KSA Albaha Sample Points

This dataset contains 1,516 sample points collected for the National Forest Inventory (NFI) in the Albaha Region, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, following a 250m systematic grid from central reference points. The data includes geospatial coordinates, agro-climatic zone classifications, administrative divisions, and stratification codes to support forest and vegetation monitoring. The points are distributed across different ecological strata, primarily in the Asir Mountains (including Asir Scarp and High Asir zones), with associated governorate and land-use classifications.

Key Features: 1,516 georeferenced points (WGS 1984, decimal degrees) Agro-climatic zone (ACZ) classification (6.1 = Astr Scarp, 6.2 = High Astr) Governorate and stratification codes (e.g., Ghamed Zenad, Al-Bsha) High-precision GPS collection (~1m accuracy) Part of a larger NFI KSA monitoring framework
