This dataset contains the spatial distribution of tree basal area values across Baljurashi Governorate, Al Bahah Region, Saudi Arabia. Basal area (m²) was calculated from field-measured tree diameters at breast height (DBH) and represents the cross-sectional area of tree stems per unit area. Each feature includes geographic coordinates (longitude, latitude) and associated basal area values, with attributes for minimum, maximum, and average measurements. The dataset supports forest monitoring, biomass estimation, ecological assessment, and sustainable land management planning. Data produced under the FAO–NCVC collaboration as part of the Natural Resources Management component of the FAO KSA programme.
