Tree_Species_Diversity_Albaha_kml
Simplified version for Google Earth visualization. Highlights key species of trees. This KML file represents the spatial distribution of main plant species in the Albahah Region, Saudi Arabia. The dataset includes geolocated points of 13 key native and naturalized species identified across three ecological strata in the region. Each species is represented by a distinct icon and geographic coordinates based on field surveys and remote sensing data.
The data was produced as part of the vegetation monitoring and biodiversity assessment efforts conducted by the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC), in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), under the Sustainable Rural Agricultural Development Programme.
