Land Degradation and Productivity Trends in Saudi Arabia (2000–2024)

This dataset contains field observations gathered across several Saudi Arabian governorates under the FAO and NCVC partnership. This dataset contains 120 field observation points collected across multiple Saudi Arabian governorates under the FAO–NCVC collaboration. The fieldwork verified vegetation health, soil degradation. Data were collected between June and October 2022 in governorates including Tabarjal, Sakaka, Domat Al Jandal, Al Majaridah, Muhayel, Balqarn, Abha, Al Jubayl, Al Udayd, and Al Ahsa. Each entry represents a specific observation point with detailed notes on vegetation density, land cover, soil condition, and site photos used to validate satellite-based analyses.
